Jupiter Turns Direct: Forward Motion

Jupiter turns direct, Jupiter Aquarius

Jupiter Turns Direct [22 Aquarius 20]

October 18, 2021 (6:30 GMT+1)

Jupiter is the biggest planet in the universe and the best planet in astrology. The big planet represents opportunity, growth, expansion & freedom and is the planet of hope, trust & faith.

Jupiter’s linked to global connections, education, the law, religion and is where you find meaning and purpose in your life. Wherever you find Jupiter in your horoscope, this is where you’re encouraged to embrace life to the full.

This week, Jupiter turns direct in Aquarius after being retrograde for four months since June 20th. Jupiter turning direct can bring new opportunities forth as doors open. It’s a positive time to put energy into your life wherever you find Jupiter’s blessings (see below).

Jupiter’s first transit through Aquarius was from December 19, 2020 to May 13, 2021. What you began back then could be fruitful as there’s another bite at the cherry. Jupiter will be in Aquarius until the end of the year and completes its transit of Aquarius on December 29, 2021.

On a personal level, this is great news if you have planets/angles between 22 – 29 Aquarius as you have Jupiter on your side.  This would be a good time to resurrect an opportunity or idea that emerged in the first five months of 2021 and run with it.

Mercury-Jupiter Interplay

Jupiter turns direct on the same day as communication planet Mercury turns direct. These two planets are in cahoots, working together.

They are linked in astrology as they rule opposite star signs: Gemini (Mercury) & Sagittarius (Jupiter); Virgo (Mercury) & Pisces (Jupiter). Both planets are linked to education, travel, trade, thinking & beliefs.

There’s a lovely interplay between Mercury and Jupiter that’s continuing. Mercury is the messenger and Jupiter is a symbol of hope. Here’s what’s been happening.

Note there’s one more positive planetary aspect on November 1st when both planets are direct – there may have been some to-ing and fro-ing but October 18th releases their power.
