Sun in Taurus/ Moon
enters Taurus 6:03am EDT
Planetary ruler for
Friday- Venus
The universe is relatively calm
at the moment and will stay that way through today and tomorrow, but things
will start changing Sunday when the sky gets busy with the Sun’s ingress into
Gemini, the Gemini New Moon and Gemini solar eclipse.  Venus is already retrograde in Gemini, and
Mercury, Gemini’s planetary ruler, is currently in steady Taurus, but will
catch up with the rest of the pack this Thursday. This is a lot of mutable air
energy, and fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) may have trouble
adapting as they are just not as flexible and able to switch gears as quickly,
being a Scorpio, I would know. Yoga is one helpful remedy to this as staying
physically flexible will lend to being mentally and emotionally flexible;
making your insides match your outsides is always a good way to get through
anything.
This eclipse will likely bring a
change in our social circles as well as communication styles. We will have to
become more or less flexible, depending on our personal natal energies. Those
who are easy going may find that their laid back ways of thinking and dealing
with their social group is draining them or holding them back in some way.
Others, myself included, may find that this eclipse pushes them to be more
open-minded and less closed off to social situations.
