What a week lies ahead!

We have the Sun’s entrance into Gemini on Sunday, the 20th, at 11:16am (EDT). The Moon meets The Twins at 7:06pm and is immediately followed by a New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Gemini at 7:48pm. Prior to all that busy Gemini solar-lunar activity, Venus turns retrograde at 24 Gemini on Tuesday. With an emphasis on the mutable signs, staying flexible is the way to go. Adaptability is the key to release and renewal as the Moon continues to wane through Sunday and also as we move toward accomplishing our New Moon goals in the coming month.

The Moon in PISCES on Monday wakes us with a blend of confidence and compassion. No need to push this morning. The force is already with you. Rodney King asked, “Can’t we all just get along?” Let King’s words serve as a mantra if personal feelings push to overwhelm group dynamics. Blessings are in the air Tuesday morning if you tap into the all for one and one for all vibe.

Early Tuesday evening the Moon moves into assertive, self-propelled ARIES where it stays through early Friday morning. You’ve heard of whirlwind romances? What about whirlwind battles? Stay alert for explosive moments that can be easily averted by stopping to think it through. Since we’re entering a “Let’s get ready to rumble” mode for the next few days, be prepared to go the distance without having to start over again from scratch. If you have to commit to a plan of action, do it before feelings turn cold on Thursday.

Shopper Alert! Venus turns retrograde at 10:34am on Tuesday. Luxury purchases are probably not going to satisfy your emotional needs in the way you hoped. Hold off on these purchases until Venus turns direct on June 27th. Think (Gemini) it over again (retrograde) before spending on luxuries (Venus).

The Moon enters TAURUS early Friday morning. The Taurus moon is more interested in money than marriage today. Can you take care of business while tending to your loved ones? It’s one of those actions speak louder than words periods that requires follow through in the business of love. Saturday opens a door for just that. Lay a good foundation and build on it for continued success.

If you make New Moon wishes, bring them into mental focus now. Do not take any action until after the New Moon! You want to begin your projects after the New Moon, not before.

Sunday is ripe with promise as the Moon completes her journey through Taurus and enters the airy, versatile sign of GEMINI. Hand in hand with ol’ Sol, Lady Luna brings us hope of wishes yet to be fulfilled. Treasures lie beneath stones yet unturned. “Seek and ye shall find.”

A Note on the Eclipse

Astrologers generally agree that Solar eclipse events are in effect anywhere from six months to a year. If the New Moon Eclipse at 00° Gemini makes contact with any planets or the angles of your chart, you can expect a focused energy from the Eclipse. If there’s no direct contact to your planets or angles, this eclipse isn’t as likely to affect you personally. The more contacts, the more results.
