ElsaElsa » Delusions About Pluto In Capricorn

April 27th, 2012 @ 3:35 pm by ElsaElsa

There is a discussion of on the boards: What the funk is going on with the world? I tie the current decay to Pluto in Capricorn. FieryTaurus points out…

“Pluto will reach Aquarius in 2023 then go back into Capricorn for one last round until 2024…”

People mistakenly think this will all be resolved at the end of Pluto’s transit through Capricorn. Pluto through Sadge killed journalism and education. Do you see that resolved? No. It will not be resolved in my lifetime, nor is is likley to be resolved in yours!

AstroTableTalk »

There must be some Neptune thing going on, because it has been clear for a long time that Spain and Italy have probably unmanageable debts. Yet between periods of crisis (when some of the debts become due for repayment) the financial markets start to get bullish – until the next crisis, which is starting now over Spain’s debts. There’s a lot of false hope around, and it regularly gets replaced by fear. Maybe it is Neptune entering its own sign of Pisces.

The EU has Pluto and Uranus hard-aspecting its Sun for this year, next year and probably the year after. Fundamental change (Pluto) brought on by periods of crisis (Uranus), with Pluto empowering Uranus and Uranus radicalising Pluto. This change has not yet happened, and the EU is doing its best to hang on to the old paradigm. The …

The Cancer moon
promotes family issues, making this is a perfect time to catch up with the
young people in your life. Use this weekend to make sure that the next
generation is taken care of and on track. A get-together can reveal a lot about
how social and education issues are flowing in the lives of the children that
are important to you. Younger siblings, children and nieces and nephews need
all of the support that you can give them and you may get something out of the
deal, as well. Knowing that you are needed and have made a difference will be priceless now and in the long run.

nuclear core(Astrology Explored) My sister asked me what her chart says about what she should be doing. My response was immediate. “What can’t you do? You’ve got Pluto and Mars supporting your Sun. You can do anything you want!”

Tied together by the harmonious energetic connection of a trine, the Sun, Mars and Pluto provide a powerful engine for progress for the next seven days especially for earth and water signs. Or you can space out and let life wash over you like a lovely dream. Your choice.

For those that don’t know, three planets tied together by trines is called a Grand Trine. Grand Trines happens in the same element, fire, air, earth or water. This time we have an earthy Grand Trine, so we tend to focus, especially if you have planets in the earth element, on those aspects …

ElsaElsa » Love And The Black Box Theory

April 27th, 2012 @ 8:09 am by ElsaElsa

I am old enough to remember Saturn’s previous transit through Libra.  I know how important the decisions you make at this time are, and how long lasting their effects. With Saturn winding up in Libra, I find myself evaluating my relationships and striving to learn all I can about love and partnering.

I did a series of videos on synastry once, they start here: The Main Techniques Work, But Not Really! I talk about the limits of the various astrological technique when it comes to judging compatibility between two people. You may be able to see a clash of wills or a clash of tastes or an emotional affinity between two people but these things are minor, particularly in relationships that work.

The March New Moon at 2° Aries takes place at 10:37 AM EDT on March 22, and while all new moons herald a time of beginnings and increased energy, this one is saturated with the enthusiasm, ambition and force of the Ram.

On a collective level, since Aries is the natural ruler of the first house of “Me, Myself and I,” this month’s lunation directs us to be self-interested and encourages us to take steps that will further our own interests.

With Mars, the planet of leadership and natural ruler of Aries, currently retrograde in the mutable sign of Virgo and opposing Chiron, this lunation can provide a much-needed energetic shot in the arm to the cosmos.
However, given the planetary aspects influencing this New Moon, it will be very important to plan things out carefully before taking any action.…

ElsaElsa » What Kind Of Souls Do You Attract?

April 26th, 2012 @ 10:40 am by ElsaElsa

My husband remarked on how crazy, weird, and nerdy everyone around him is. Me, the dogs and, Vid, this is.  He was wondering why he attracted such souls.

He supposes it’s because these were the only kind of souls he liked to be around.

What kind of souls do you attract? Why do you think this is?  Can you tie the astrology?

The poster you see above apparently is a very convincing one. It is a modern political  poster of the French far-right party “Front National”. The slogan on it goes: “let’s produce French products with French workers” . This is a rather nationalistic slogan that obviously goes against the many millions of foreign (or foreign descent) workers in France! But it seems to have been appealing to the French, because last Sunday it led almost the 20% of them to vote for “Front National”!  And although the above poster seems modern, dynamic and “awaking” it is somehow reminiscent of posters that are by now 80 years old! I am referring to the 1930’s far-right political posters in Europe, of a highly volatile period that ultimately led to the rise of Hitler’s fascist party in Germany (Mussolini’s in Italy etc.) and to

virgo girlHow granular should you get with quality of a sign in combo with a planet/angle and the house? How do you weigh all that stuff in your interpretation?

Really good question. First you should never lose sight of the sign a planet is placed in, even if you’ve got some problem with the sign. This is very common. “Hey! I don’t want to be a Virgo. I’ve got Pluto in Virgo  and blah, blah, blah, so really I am not a Virgo, I am a….”

That’s a load of crap. If your Sun is in Virgo, you are going to have to serve, make others look good, fix messes and so forth so this is the first thing to consider.

confused clone(Astrology Explored)–From the Middletown Press Police Blotter

ILLEGAL OPERATION UNDER SUSPENSION, IMPROPER USE MARKER PLATE, OPERATION UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE, FAILURE TO WEAR SAFETY BELT — On April 19 at 6:58 p.m., Sansal Gokcek, 23, of Century Avenue, Bridgeport, was seen by an officer speeding while driving a Honda Accord on Randolph Road without wearing a seatbelt. His plate wasn’t registered to the car, the report says. Gokcek, who delivers pizza for Roberto’s Pizzaria, said he tried to register the car at DMV but couldn’t because his license was suspended. The next day, he was stopped on Saybrook Road for operation of an unregistered vehicle and while license is suspended and failure to wear seatbelt.

Some people just don’t learn their lesson, the above gentleman, a case in point.

While I can’t comment on Mr. Gokchek’s chart, the chart …
