Planetary Energies » December 2011: Total Lunar Eclipse, Mercury and Uranus go direct

This is a short message about what is going on right now. It is a very interesting period in our world, full of unknowns, dilemmas, and dawning inspirations. Astrologically this is all in line with the shifts in signs of Uranus, Neptune and Chiron, and the gradual build-up to the Uranus Pluto square, which will be exact for the first time next summer.
Right now we are coming up to a major Full Moon on December 10, which occurs with a Total Lunar Eclipse (at 18 Gemini/Sagittarius). This is a time to let go of that which is no longer needed, especially as regards thought patterns and intellectual concepts. At the same time, Uranus goes direct having been retrograde since mid-July. Mercury goes direct a few days later, on December 13/14.
So matters that have been stalled or waiting can move forward, but the changes occurring right now are likely to undergo renegotiations/alterations until both planets have got back to the place at which they turned retrograde, in Mercury’s case (contracts) this means Jan 1 2012 and for Uranus, (new collective agreements and inspirations) March 25 2012. Whatever is agreed politically over the next week will most likely be revisited sooner rather than later.
As far as my own work goes, I am still spending a good deal of time in retreat and inner contemplation, but am now welcoming client sessions again. If you have been waiting to request one, feel free to email me now.
It seems a lot of people, especially those working in the areas of healing and spirituality, are similarly in retreat mode at the moment. The guidance I’ve received is that this has to do with the transformations happening collectively, and that we are preparing for a new level of work and communication which will begin to manifest next year. Everyone has their own time line for this and for how much of a retreat they need to make, but I just want to say, if you feel tired and that you need a rest, don’t be afraid to take a back seat for a while.
