What’s up, everybody? Always true to my Sagittarian mind, I am on an infinite quest to “connect” the dots. To take various bits of information and synthesize, thereby creating a whole. In fact, these pieces may even seem to be unrelated at the time. For most of my adult life, music and astrology have consistently spoken to me. Both are universal languages, and I am of the opinion that if we know how and where to look, we can discover the themes of these two beautiful symbolic tongues manifesting in almost everything around us. Since I’m a hip hop head, I’ve put together a collection of hip-hop lyrics for the 12 signs of the zodiac to help you better understand their underlying themes and thought processes.  I hope you enjoy.

I wore a lot of black when Pluto transited my Sun. When the transit passed and I realized I was wearing black from head to toe, I was horrified.
When my progressed Moon was in the masculine sign of Aries , I took to wearing men’s watches. With my progressed Moon in Taurus (Venus/art) , I dated a painter and dressed as if I had just stepped from a painting of some Italian chick of one era or the other. It was all about texture and the color wheel.

Film director Ken Russell made big, messy pictures with a lot of sex and music in them. His fluid, emotional, freewheeling camerawork is still like no one else’s.
Yesterday at the age of 84, the old maverick was taken by his maker (Uranus Returns, Jupiter conj Chiron).

I’m just off the phone with a client who progressed ascendant will move from Pisces to Aries within a year. I am a progressed Aries rising and remember the dramatic shift well.
I explained that when I was a progressed Pisces rising, I went to an astrology conference and some guy behind me blew on my neck the whole time, acting like he was doing nothing. As an Aries rising, I am currently seen as angry and dangerous. It’s pretty funny.
