SAGITTARIUS 8 DEGREES

AGON~FAITH IN FATE

The last day of November opens the door for a joyous December where hearts are warmed by the spice of the holiday season. Today’s meditation for Sagittarius challenges our ‘faith in fate’.  It’s a day to ponder our deeper emotions and be big enough to have faith in their power to bring us above our fear.

The angels of hope dance very close to us now…

SINCLAIR LEWIS was born 7 February 1885 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. A well-worn line, mistakenly believed to have been his, is quoted by writers, bloggers and commenters frequently: When facism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross. It’s not impossible that Lewis uttered something along those lines in conversation, but it remained undocumented. Something very similar,…

ElsaElsa » Advice Of The Day – Imbalance Of Power

November 30th, 2011 @ 4:20 pm by ElsaElsa

To a client:

“I don’t think you are this guy’s imprint. You’re functioning as his therapist and that’s fine. You’re drawn to his intensity and I understand that but I think when/if he ever wants to actually partner with someone, he is going to go for someone else.  You want a partnership. You’re a Libra!  You see that you’re both ambitious, successful and attractive and think, great!  We’re peers.  But I don’t know that he wants a peer.  I think he wants an imbalance of power. I think that is what he likes so when he is ready to partner, he’s going to go for that. I would be happy to be wrong about this but check it out okay?  I don’t want you to listen to this guy’s angst for all these months and then someone shows up

“Come and get yo’ soul food, well well…… good old-fashioned soul food…. all right…..everythang is for free, as good as it can be…come and get some soul food.” – Goodie Mob

Nourish (nur’ish) – To provide with food and other substances necessary for life and growth; feed. (2) To foster the development of; promote. (3) To keep alive; maintain.

Most of us know the tremendously satisfying feeling of having a good meal. Whether we’re walking away from our own kitchen table or sliding out of a booth in a restaurant, there is a common and immediate understanding when we utter the phrases “mmmmmm”, or “yum”, or we say the Jamaican joint was on smash. On the flip side, we also know hunger. That burning or aching in the belly that alerts us. The weakness and discomfort that signals our …

JunoJuno is often simply known as the marriage asteroid. However, it can be passionate commitment energy in general. It’s got a bit of Saturn, bit of Pluto flavor to it. So in Scorpio, Juno is depthy, watery, sexy, possibly scheming, definitely intense, probing. Transiting Juno in Scorpio can bring an energy of delving beneath the surface to look at what it is you really desire in a committed relationship, or if you want one at all.

This is particularly the case today given the fact that the transiting Moon in Aquarius squares Juno while Mars sextiles. An intellectual, cool Moon as a mood is open. It doesn’t promote depth, but it doesn’t necessarily avoid. It would be a mood that can handle the idea of “maybe I don’t want a relationship like I thought I did.”

Sagittarian Mind » Astro Profile : Madlib

November 30th, 2011 @ 3:15 pm by Sagittarian Mind

If you call yourself a “hip-hop head” and you’re not familiar with the music of Madlib, I suggest that you crawl out from under your rock and do some research. Otis Jackson, Jr. (Born October 24, 1973 in Oxnard, California) is arguably one of the most versatile, productive and hard working producers ever to lay his imprint on the game. With production for a roster that consists of the likes of Erykah Badu, Ghostface, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and the Alkaholiks (just for starters), you’ve probably been nodding your head to this man’s beats and you didn’t even realize it.

Madlib, October 24, 1973 6:00 am, Oxnard, CA

Sun in Scorpio:

” I’m like a hermit, I’m not really doing all this mingling with people.”

” I hate standing in front of a crowd and having to show myself,

(True Crime and Astrology)Three different timelines printed in separate sources provide a more complete detail of the events of the day Lisa Irwin went missing from her home. The timelines from “family sources” differ in details, while the third is a more objective one taken from multiple media reports.

Though the parents of Lisa Irwin remain silent, and the KS police department step down their involvement in this high profile case, new people step forward with their stories. The gaps in the timeline fill in and we can move astrologically through the last day Lisa Irwin was at home with her family.

These new clues emerged weeks after the reported abduction.

In a previous post this astrologer wrote of that in my opinion whatever happened to Lisa happened well before the reported abduction. This is based on the …

Lisa Irwin(True Crime and Astrology) Much has been made of the cell phones that were found missing at Lisa Irwin’s home the night she disappeared from her crib. Police attempts to locate Lisa or the cell phones have hit a dead end. Lisa’s parents decline separate interviews with the police.

Most frustrating are the shifting stories of Lisa’s parents. At first we were told Deborah Bradley, Lisa’s mother, last checked on the child at 10:30 PM. Then after video was displayed on national media of Deborah buying a box of wine, she recanted that story, saying she put Lisa, a child supposedly suffering from a cold, at bed at 6:40 PM, and then drinking enough wine that she went to bed so drunk she couldn’t remember the details of the night.

Deborah Bradley was untruthful in her initial statements to …

Don’t Panic. Here’s a concept that a girl can get behind, especially in regards to the wild times we’ve been having lately. For those of you not familiar with The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series (and in my humble opinion the films are rubbish–read the books), the premise of the series is to detail the zany adventures of an oddly matched crew as they cruise round the universe. The Guide is a Lonely Planet but for the entire cosmos, and like any good shoestring travel guide has recommendations for smooth travel. Carry a towel, for instance, and, written on the cover: Don’t Panic (first rule of the road).

As a young adult I loved these absurdist British books. One of my favorite images was the happy planet on the cover (I even silk-screened it onto a sweatshirt in …

From my weekly newsletter (sent tomorrow):

“We’ve got quite a set-up out on Thursday. You’ll be sensitized as the Moon in Pisces conjuncts Chiron and Neptune.  Meanwhile, Venus and Pluto form an exact conjunction in Capricorn – see the Transit Watch – Kiss Of Death. On top of that, Mars in Virgo squares the Sun in Sagittarius so people are going to blurt and blow their mouth off for sure…”
