On Tuesday September 27th three specific astrological conditions are formed which predispose to the occurrence of possible extreme events. First of all, the Moon (in its monthly orbit) will come closer to Earth, creating the September 27th phenomenon of “Super-Moon” – as Astrologer Richard Nolle calls it. The Sun and the Moon will “conjunct” (they will be found in the very same portion of the sky without producing an eclipse though) forming what we call a New Moon. At the same time the Moon will come closer than usual to Earth. Last time we had a Super – Moon it was on April 18th 2011, very close to the date when the great earthquake and tsunami in Japan occurred. Of course this does not mean that such a mega-quake will happen again.

The other fact that concerns us is that…

Welcome to this week!

With the Sun and Mercury in early Libra, we’ve got an approximation of last summer’s cardinal T-square. Fortunately, there are some major differences this time, but we’re in for a wild ride nonetheless.

If the approach to Tuesday’s New Moon in Libra feels like Mercury retrograde, there’s a reason. Monday starts out with Mercury opposite Uranus, which sometimes is described of as a “higher octave” of Mercury. You might think of him as Mercury on steroids. Actually, in ancient mythology, Uranus represented primal air, a sort of “Father Sky.” In Greek mythology, he was…

Astropost » Eris in the chart of a government

September 26th, 2011 @ 4:56 am by Astropost

Wedding of Peleus by Bloemaert (Eris throws an apple)

Eris is the symbol of discord, disagreement and quarrels. Eris is never peaceful and nice. The story is that she threw a golden apple in a group of Goddesses, saying that it was a gift for the most beautiful woman. Then all women started fighting for the apple…*) This symbol of quarrels is in the 22nd degree of Aries right now. The

With all the emphasis on Libra in the sky, patterns in relationship and various ways of relating and cross my mind. One thing I’ve been thinking about it how bad it feels when someone loses faith in you. It feels as bad, if not worse to lose faith in someone yourself.

Lauren Lesko » Radiant Light

September 25th, 2011 @ 2:57 pm by Lauren Lesko

“If you could get rid of yourself  just once the secret of secrets would open to you”

Shamanic HealingPluto is that aspect in our psyche that rids ourself of dead or dying aspects of ourself. Pluto is farthest from the light of our consciousness and closest to the core of our primordial instincts, which is why the process of psychological death and rebirth that Pluto promises often feels like it is coming from forces outside ourself and beyond our control, rather than within ourself and actualized by ourself. Pluto, the celestial messenger of mercy, swiftly delivers a death blow to our psyche removing thought patterns and emotional attachments in ways that rarely feel merciful. Under the influence of Pluto we are forced to face our demons and journey into the darkness of our soul. Stripped bare of our worldly…

Lauren Lesko » A Wisdom That Heals

September 25th, 2011 @ 2:57 pm by Lauren Lesko

New Moon Yearning” All of  life springs from the primeval waters that flow from the tree of life and gather at its base, waters which are limitless, an essential sea circulating through all of nature. These waters are the beginning and end of all existence, the ever-moving matrix that nurtures and preserves life. The World Tree, expressing its milky golden sap, denotes ‘absolute reality’, a return to the center and place of origin, the home of wisdom that heals.”*Under the influence of Pisces I am having trouble giving form to my thoughts and  I am still sorting my impressions of this New Moon as it approaches the waxing phase of the cycle. Two days after the New Moon I saw a delicate sliver of light rising in the night sky,…

After an absence of few days, i feel the need to mention the coincidence of the execution of Troy Davis with the movement of the Sun towards the sign of Libra. Just a day before the Sun moves into the sign symbolized by the Scales of Justice, an apparent injustice is committed, when they deny Troy Davis the opportunity to pass the lie detector, which his lawyers were appealing for. I couldn’t even pretend to know what happened on that night of August 1989, when the off-duty policeman Mark Mac Phail was shot. I will publish here the noon chart of Troy Davis, to see the revealing transits for that night, but none of us will ever know if he was guilty or not. But what it transpires quite clearly is that the lawyers obviously didn’t prove “beyond reasonable

With the Moon in Virgo and ruler, Mercury in Libra, it’s a safe bet that people have love and relationship on their mind. The new moon in Libra takes place on Tuesday morning (US), so this is an ideal time to think about setting an intention around how you want to deal with others.

You may want to be a more considerate lover, a better negotiator, or you may want to work on your boundaries. You may want to me more (or less) social. You may want to give as much as you take, or quit giving to people who don’t give to you. You may want to settle an outstanding debt.

Whatever you do, think in terms of balance and fairness because it you try to cheat others at this time, the repercussions are likely to be crushing.…
