ElsaElsa » Trends In The Collective

September 27th, 2011 @ 2:25 pm by ElsaElsa

If I had to choose just one thing to study for the rest of my life it would be trends in the collective. I am talking about the deep shifts in the collective psychology that see various things (or people) become popular or faddish. I constantly monitor things like this in numerous ways. As a result, I can usually see things coming way ahead of the pack.

The Oxford Astrologer » Hello Mr Mercury

September 27th, 2011 @ 1:46 pm by The Oxford Astrologer

Planets, as you know, have both positive and negative characteristics. The important thing to remember is that they do not necessarily reflect our own moral values.
Yesterday this chap Alessio Rastani gave an interview that rather shocked some people. Take a look at this clip.
I think he comes across as an avatar of Mercury with a warning from Pluto. He certainly feels like a messenger to me, but is he telling the truth or is he simply here to spread a little fear?
What do you think?

spoonful of medicineI just did an email consultation in which I gave some pretty unpalatable advice. It could really work out well if she’s able to put that advice into action. However, it wasn’t exactly feel good advice. The client, by virtue of chart attributes, is probably far better suited than I am to work this particular course of action. In fact, hmm, I got to thinking and it was exactly the same advice Elsa has been giving ME for years now. Holy moly, that was certainly an ego blow.

Auntie Moon » New Moon in Libra ~ An Open Heart

September 27th, 2011 @ 11:52 am by Auntie Moon

Instead of focusing on the heavy astrology that accompanies this New Moon in Libra, let’s just think about love.

We’ve had some very heavy aspects in the sky for a while and we’re going to have to live with them for a while longer. Yes, the stars have jagged edges these days, but that’s no reason not to embrace the loving ideas that a New Moon in the sign of relationships can bring us ~ rough stars or not. So instead of lamenting all the current rottenness, during this New Moon I encourage you to embrace one of the loveliest partnerships in the zodiac ~ the relationship between Venus and the Moon.

The only two feminine planets we have are joining forces now as the Moon cascades through Venus’ beloved home in Libra. When these two planets combine, we encounter the most beautiful…

ElsaElsa » A High Compliment

September 27th, 2011 @ 9:10 am by ElsaElsa

I was speaking with a client today – I like the woman he is involved with. I vote for her all the time, lol.

One of of the things I like about her is she’s very smart.  Virtually nothing gets by the woman and what this means is that any effort the man makes, however subtle, it gets picked up.  In other words, energy expended in her direction is never wasted.

Annalisa » Fall Fashion By The Signs, 2011: Virgo

September 27th, 2011 @ 7:08 am by Annalisa

Fall Fashion, VirgoThe Virgo dresser loves a uniform more than any other sign, even a Scorpio! Virgo loves their clothing to work every day without stress and easily presenting them as neat and attractive while not drawing too much attention to them. The Virgo is neat when dressing and this is another reason they try to master a uniform when dressing and mix it up in very subtle ways that are simple to perform. The Virgo dresser becomes confused when color and patterns are thrown in and love to keep things as easy as possible while staying neat and clean. Many Virgos that work in the arts love the all black uniform because it is slimming and easy to work with when it comes to separates. Those Virgos that work in the areas that are not the arts find a look that…

It’s the super new moon we’ve been waiting for! The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn all line up Libra, to be aspected by every other planet in the sky, excluding Neptune.

I have real trouble seeing this in a negative light. Even if you are spectacularly lonely, it’s nothing but a wake-up call. Turns out there are real benefits to be derived by teaming up with others or participating in social interaction.

If you feel bad today, here are some ideas:

“This is an extremely significant New Moon in Sidereal Virgo charged with the kind of potential to really change not just individual lives, but the whole world. On the surface even, this chart jumps out and seizes our attention. A Mercury, Ouranus Opposition is no laughing matter by anyone’s estimation. In a Natal Chart it is inclined to make it’s Natives: Insolent, Chaotic, and Incoherent!..”

On this New Moon in Libra,  the Sun and Moon cozy up together under the scales of love and social justice, while  Venus and Saturn are also conjunct a bit further along in the same sign –
In fact, right now, when you add Mercury, five planets are concentrated in this area of the zodiac that rules harmony, balance and relating.
How harmonious it will be remains to be seen… as the Sun and Moon get closely caught up in the intense Uranus/Pluto square that is getting stronger every day.
The potent and potentially traumatic energy of the Uranus Pluto square has recently triggered revolutionary and violent upheavals all over the world, reminiscent of the last time these two planets were last so strongly impacting each other in the 60′s .
With the Sun/Moon conjunction also close to Mercury…
