No surprise this week’s Libra New Moon ushered in some important changes for me. The day of the New Moon I found out I needed to find a new primary care physician because Medicare does not recognize naturopathic doctors. Whilst I love my doctor and will continue seeing her occasionally to tune up my supplements, it is more important in the long view to establish new relationships with other medical professionals.
I sat down and drew a couple of cards for advice on this situation and the first card was the Seven of [...]
George Ault, a good-looking fellow, as befits Sun, Mercury and Venus in Libra – but he was an artist who could be said to have “painted his depression”.Born into privilege, on 11 October 1891. His parents were wealthy business people who moved from Cleveland, Ohio to London, England when George was young. He had the benefit of a good art education at Slade School of Art and St. John’s Wood
Great question, thank you. Sometimes I say these things knowing they are home truths but not knowing no one knows what I am talking about!
First, I did not specify “back”. It has nothing to do with being stabbed in the back. I am talking about being stabbed, period. When someone stabs you, there is an energy exchange. If someone hits you, same thing. If someone oppresses you in any way they are giving you energy. If someone kisses you, same thing. If they yell at you or if they give you a present, they are transferring their energy to you and at the point the energy is yours and therefore it is yours to use.

My Bawdy Astrology class starts shortly. I’ve got to work on this underground so I am going pull up a series from 2006 that I think people might like being exposed to. It suits the Moon in Scorpio, that’s for sure.
I hope you like it.
Today on the boards – Are you hanging on or getting ahead?
Did you ever date someone who is your Venus sign?
Moons in Synastry: What Do They FEEL Like?
“…One mistake women make is they conceal what it is they want and I think this is a big mistake. With Saturn in Libra, it will help to first, define what you want for yourself, and then secondly, communicate it! You don’t find a job by acting like you don’t want a job and you don’t find a husband by acting like you don’t want a husband.”
Do you conceal your desires from yourself or others?
This weekend marks the exact opposition of Black Moon Lilith and Juno. By mythical archetype this is embodied in the powerful wild woman in standoff with the equally powerful wife. There’s no set value judgement for each, both having their own high and low expression. However, with Saturn and Venus still in orb of conjunction with Juno, the committed wife archetype carries the energy of the collective favor and gravity in relationship. If you force a choice between the two, whichever side you stand on, the answer will be decisive. If you’re not ready for the final answer, don’t ask.

There is still a major focus on relationships but today the Moon in Scorpio squares Neptune in Aquarius with unpredictable results.
I do think people will be tweaked but this does not mean you can’t get something useful from it.
For example, if you can detach from your research today, this could be a real boon.

My friend Robert Wilkinson has an interesting article today in answer to a reader’s question whether prophets and wise people can be revealed from their birthcharts. Before I go into Robert’s response I’d like to weigh in myself and say no – there isn’t any way we can look at a horoscope cast for a particular time and date and determine whether or not that person will be a holy being, wise person, prophet or sage. In the same way, we cannot tell whether or not that individual will end up a serial murderer or world leader.
The birthchart is a map of potentialities, and what we do with it is dependent upon a number of factors: where the individual is in terms of his or her soul’s evolutionary process; the kind of environment into which he or she is…
I think this post from April 2010 could stand a re-airing: Once upon a time, around the first decade of the 20th century, the USA had a group of writers upon whom the then president, Theodore Roosevelt, bestowed the name “Muckrakers”, a term borrowed from literature (John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress). The president could, it seems, see both advantage and disadvantage to the work of these
