What a Mercury Retch this has been. It started with Mercury in Virgo opposing Neptune in Pisces and it felt like we have been dealing with heaps of confusion and chaos ever since. Sure didn’t help to have Mars in Cancer picking fights with Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn and lastly Saturn in Libra. My Libra self is exhausted from all the discord, both in the collective and my immediate environment.

I mentioned “corpses” in 2008 – People Who Are Dead But Don’t Know It – What A Bother! In 2009, I mentioned them in one of the daily forecasts and I followed that up with a video: Step Away From The Corpse.

You tend to see corpses on parade when Venus aspects Pluto in the sky. I also mention those who have been discarded who climb from their trash cans during these periods and you yourself can be the corpse of course.

Jupiter, Pluto, Sun and Moon. Stable and Powerful.

Mercury stations direct in Leo. Expect to hear some grand pronouncements. Then Mercury moves into Virgo to join Sun and Venus, past the Rx zone, zooming past 5 degrees Virgo where the new Moon planted the seeds for this time. Another Grand Trine. Mercury travels beyond his opposition to Neptune and we can begin to think clearly again, to question some of the things that were said when Mercury was retrograde.

During this time there is another gift in the sky. Jupiter is quintile Neptune. A time to manifest your dreams. Like catching a cottonwood seed that is floating in the air towards you. You need to be prepared and conscious of what is there in front of you. Your hands for instance. The hands that you work with to create the things that you dream…

At last Mercury turns around Friday 26th and starts moving forward again. This coupled with Monday’s Virgo New Moon initiates a new cyle of constructive energy. With Jupiter, Pluto , Sun and Venus all forming a Grand Trine in the Earth signs it’s all about getting into the groove of the practical things in life. Comfort, material substance, food, plants, getting organised, having a plan – even if you’re not an earth sign it’s a time to savour these things.

This weekend has the potential to be mmm, mmm good. With Mercury newly direct and a grand trine in earth with Sun-Venus, Jupiter and Pluto the atmosphere is more solid. Mars in Cancer is in a push-pull with Jupiter and Saturn (go fast, no, go slow). Friday night the Moon in Leo has its own dilemma with Pluto and Jupiter (go deep, no, go up!) but its aspect to Uranus will likely trump (I don’t care where, just make it somewhere different!).

The Moon in Leo trines Uranus. Uranus is inconjunct the Sun and Venus.
