You have known the good times . You have known the bad times. Though you could always take a stumble or two, if you stop and think, you have recently entered a period of the good times.

Your sun sign is experiencing the extraordinarily positive transits of two of the five major planets. Jupiter and Pluto, the planets in question individually form a positive angle to your sun, which is called a trine. Trines speak of flow and good fortune. They also trine each other creating in your chart with the Sun in Virgo a Grand Trine.

A grand trine in a birth chart is a wonderful omen for success and a quality life, a grand trine with your sun caused by transiting planets promises the ability to add ease and happiness to your life for the period that these transits are active. Let’s start with this Grand Trine and the planets involved.

Pluto:

The transit of Pluto in Capricorn trining your sun started late 2008. It is one leg of the Grand Trine. You might not have really felt the benefits of Pluto, or recognized them at first, and you still might not. Pluto is a small planet, and recently got down-ranked to an asteroid, yet I do not know of a planet that has more far reaching implications.

Pluto is associated with the legend of the Phoenix. The Phoenix was a bird that crash and burn to its death, only to be soar from the pyre as a beautiful, re-incarnate bird. Pluto can create such a transformation wherever it transits. Pluto at best speaks of human resilience and the ability to transform crisis into a better life.

Pluto is in the sign Capricorn which is very flattering to Virgo. It resides in Virgo’s fifth house. The energy of Capricorn and Virgo is harmonious. The Fifth house is your libido energies, your creativity and that which represents your creativity. For some, this might look like a self expression in one of the arts. Children are a manifestation of your libido, and ruled by this house. Love affairs also are ruled by this house. Romance feeds the libido energies.

If one looked at a thesaurus for synonyms for “Pluto”, one would see sex, earth quakes, control, passion, mastery, intensity, darker elements of society, cannibals and on and on. Pluto is about life and death issues. It is about control and manipulation. It is about stripping away the superficial to reach the authentic.

How you experience this transit and its timing very much depends on your chart and your life at this point. The first ten days of Virgo, or anyone with planets in the first 10 degrees of Virgo are in the midst of their Pluto transit. If born between Sept 2 and 10, you could start feeling this transit this next year.

If single, Pluto often draws in a very intense , compulsive relationship. One grows through it whether they opt to stay in or out the bond. Control issues often come up. The person chosen could be a Scorpio, or have Scorpio like qualities. Single Virgos do need to check their new interest is on the up and up, or the person they project. Pluto could also indicate a degree of karma as well.

If attached, the sexuality of the bond is intensified and to no one’s surprise with Pluto in the mix, a new addition to the family becomes a strong likelihood.

To lovers of life and risk takers, Pluto can cause problems. Make sure your risks -if they backfired would not be too damaging. Pluto could also mean gambling so be careful. The need for intensity and depth with Pluto in this position is great. Therefore Virgo might go to extremes to create these feelings.

The good news here is your Sun and Pluto are in a healthy , strong aspect, so you are less likely to have problems . You can count on a major change with Libido type activities. Artists and creative people discover a new muse. Master pieces are created. You will not be bored with transit. Your experiences and the ones you choose in the future will be fundamentally different.

You might read elsewhere that Pluto is making some hard(difficult) aspects to other major transiting planets in 2012. Do not worry. You have the Grand Trine which is made possible by your Virgo sun to take the heat off the more difficult aspects.

Jupiter:

Taurus is the other earth sign, and joins Virgo and Capricorn as it too is having a major transit. Transiting Jupiter will trine transiting Pluto and both will trine your natal Virgo sun. If you draw lines from each planet mentioned above, you will have a triangle..or a “trine”.

Jupiter moved into Taurus in June 2011. Jupiter represents abundance, excess and luck. I often associate the candies “Good and Plenty” with this planet. The candies are pink, white and once in awhile a black one will pop. For the most part a Jupiter transit brings white and pink into your life but occasionally there is a backfire.

The backfire is about clearing a space for Jupiter to deliver its gift to you. You might not understand that statement if experiencing one of the black candies, but you will in another year.

Jupiter in Taurus presently resides in your Ninth House. This house represents higher mind activities, such as publishing, law, travel, education, foreigners. What this transit does is open your mind up to new lifestyles, different ways of looking at life, becoming more educated and less rigid. Rarely can this planet go wrong in this house, You might for some reason travel too much or feel overwhelmed with all the new information that might be available , but you will do well no matter what. Your thought process and ability to solve problems grows by leaps and bounds.

Jupiter is a one year transit in any sign. Jupiter’s next stop is the area ruling career, community commitments and father. This event will occur in June 2012.

Many of you if working will find in the year that follows pay-raises and promotions become distinct possibilities. A closer relationship with your father is possible. Some of you might toss yourself into community commitments. You will see the benefits of the precious transit of Jupiter in Taurus.

The Grand trine as of June 2012 dissolves but there will be other changes in this up and coming year, from June 2012 which will compensate.

Saturn:

Saturn transits can be difficult especially if you are 35 or younger. It is not a picnic for those who are 35 or above but that crowd does better with this planet.

Saturn represents wisdom, responsibilities and maturity. This planet is in the sign for this birthday year and resides in your money house. This house also represents your assets, innate talents , that you choose that represents you. When Saturn is in this house, money generally does not flow with ease. There is more often than not a sense there is simply not enough. In fact millionaires could have this transit and for whatever feel as if they need more.

How do you handle feeling you do not have enough funds ? Some people add to their savings just to make sure the proverbial rainy day which they feel coming is taken care off. Many people put themselves on a stern budget. Others might become smart shoppers and yet others panic.

Not everyone has the same responses. You will know yours. Often more bills appear. If you own a house, you might need to do some structural repair. (This transit is a bad one for buying a house.) You are in the last year of this transit.

Neptune:

Neptune is busy bounding between late degrees Aquarius and early degrees Pisces right now. On Nov, 9, 2011, Neptune will start its march into Pisces not to return to Aquarius during your lifetime. Feb 3, 2012, Neptune will formally enter Pisces and will remain there until 2026.

Pisces is your opposite sign. To have Neptune in your opposite sign could be very interesting and not necessarily bad. It makes your practicality much clearer especially if with a partner , he or she might become more idealistic and/or romantic.

If single, you could meet someone, who might be a Pisces, or perhaps you put on a pedestal because they are so special. Please take them off your pedestal because by that action, you are promising they will fall off. Remember no one is perfect. Your sweetie can only let you down if you elevate them beyond human!.

The planet Neptune could bring a very artistic, gifted, and/or spiritual person into your life. Neptune is inspiration, and this person could inspire you. Someone older than you could be a possibility with Neptune in your seventh house.

On the other hand, Neptune is fog and deception. You could be more easily deceived by someone. Trust a friend who has always your best interest in mind. If they sense something is off, let them help you figure out what it is. Sometimes addictions comes with Neptune. The person wants the world to be as idealistic as they wish.

This period easily can be one of the most romantic periods in your life, if you have chosen someone who fits the more positive meanings of Neptune. This transit occurs in your marriage house, so a wedding is more than possible too as well as a second honeymoon for married Virgos.

Once Neptune enters Pisces, though in opposition to Virgo, it makes positive aspects to Jupiter in Taurus and Pluto in Cancer. Situations move with ease for you.

Uranus:

Uranus is a planet that acts with lightening quickness. It is akin to a Jack in the Box. Surprises happen out of the blue. This planet keeps your life exciting wherever it travels. It is also shows you want is unnecessary in your life and what is relevant. It points to new paths and direction. Once more your resilience will be tested.

This planet is in Aries and has been since March 2011. During this period it has opposed Saturn, and challenged its message, and the status quo . Uranus also has squared Pluto which is about deep, profound change. Uranus is like an electrical storm. These planets are dancing a hard jig but you are protected by your Grand trine. You may have subtle hints of this T square configuration but not like many people you know.

This is a 7 year transit. Right now it is impacting the beginning of Virgo, financially through a partner or other person. You could suddenly win the lottery with Uranus in the area it is or have a surprise inheritance. On the other hand, this wild card planet Uranus could cause a sudden financial demand as well. A bill that is not expected for instance or an IRS audit. You will learn the true meaning of transient. You will learn what is important and not important . Mercury:

Virgo is ruled by Mercury. When Mercury goes retrograde, you feel less than great. This phenomena happens every 3 to 4 months. Try hard not to make major commitments and sign papers . Do not opt for any change. If you hit a snafu out of the blue, consider how you could of prevented it. You might not be able to resolve the issue until the retro is over but you can learn from it. and decide to not let it happen again. Consider the dates below like bad hair days.
