Probably a more full body of information has been written on the Uranus/Saturn opposition than ever before, thanks to blogs and the Internet. More thought has been given to this powerful opposition than in the past. Part of this literature created around the planetary powers opposing each other is also a direct reflection of the manifestations of the opposition.
Uranus has made the walls tumble of traditional communications, opening a brand new world for me, for you, for all of us out there. You can barely keep a secret today, in this brave new world.
Uranus going direct in everyone of our charts will have implications. There is no way around it. If we choose to feel its energy is a different issue. One can be sure you will know someone who will be squarely hit on the kisser, excuse the expression thus affecting you. If you see a friend go off the deep end, you just might think, oh oh, Uranus struck. Of course you cannot be sure unless you are an astrologer and can read the chart..Understand the opposition will test the status quo.
Uranus wherever it is has a way of making nerves raw, of teaching what we expect is not what we will get, and our true openness is tested.
So as you look for what this planet in opposition to Saturn will do to your chart. Think about the fact, that these planetary powers are battling not only in your chart, but also every one’s chart you know, though because of where the planets are in each person’s chart, with the individuality of each chart, the war waged between these two planets…will be different in each case.
As Jim Morrison wrote, during this same opposition 40 years plus ago: people are strange. Yes. They are strange. Look around- people are strange, very strange. Have empathy, knowing the battle waged is tough.
On a bigger level countries- the world, the planet are experiencing the same war. Look at the issues facing the planet….our country, the world…we can clearly see Uranus announcing-it is not working, (insight), and revolutionary solution maybe…while Saturn says : oh, no we like it like this , Please do not challenge us to change.
With this said, I hope you will let go of your pictures, and open up to the Brave New World unfolding, with new ideas, with new fundamentals, and probably a lot more implications than I or you can imagine. Times are exciting
Just for info: Uranus is in late Pisces forming a loose opposition to Saturn in Aries, It will becoming more and more exact this Spring (April 26) to pull apart again to the final time, in this astrologer’s lifetime in July 26, 2010. The opposition will repeat again in another 40 plus years.
We cannot speculate the implications anymore than the hippies could of stunning assassinations, racial equality, free love and liberating the spirit. Sometimes we cannot see that far as good as the prophets may be.
