It’s the End of the World as We Know it
And do we feel fine? I just had a session today with a high-powered Scorpio Rising business woman who recently lost her job like many people in the fashion/retail business. She said it just might be the best thing that ever happened to her. Time with her family and afternoons of leisure—what’s that? Go back two weeks ago and “normalcy” was two blackberry’s constantly ringing off the hook, and a nonstop schedule that never allowed her to eat lunch beyond the confines of her desk while a nanny and personal assistant lived her other life for her enabling her to work even longer and harder. She could easily be the poster child for New York City success stories and socially acceptable workaholic syndromes about making some serious green. Working to live or living to work? There was a similar awakening when the Towers fell after 9.11. A reconsideration of our priorities as we pondered what our own personal Towers were that were also crashing and burning. We often don’t realize we’re in bondage until life imposes a dramatic time-out! Enter Pluto in Capricorn to the evolutionary rescue.
Now that Pluto, the archetype of deep one-way, you’re never going back transformation, is joining forces with Capricorn, the archetype of the Devil and the World–the world will never be or function the same way, nor will it be ruled by unconscious devilish forces of bondage and greed. It’s time to pay the Piper so to speak. In the last blog entry I was discussing the end of the big daddy bailout mentality. And in the news this week we saw how the big-shot execs at GM had the greedy audacity to show up in Washington via their private jets crying poor and expecting the taxpayers to bail them out. Pluto exposes corruption, and toxic energy corroding the system. While in Sagittarius over the past thirteen years, Pluto exposed all of the contamination and destructive elements tied up on religious organizations. Now with Capricorn the focus is on corporations, financial structures, and all of the corrupt big daddy Capricorn figures out there. The darkness is already being brought to light in perfect Plutonian fashion by exposing all that is corrupt with our capitalistic system and the corruption of the original values of a free enterprise system. What are the chains that bind us and totally screw up our integrity? Which devil have we sold our soul to and how do we bargain it back?
With Pluto on the brink of entering Capricorn next week, we’re shifting to a new model of integrity and accountability. Pluto in Capricorn is like the father asking: “Do you really need this or do you just want it?” If you can prove a constructive use for the money, that doesn’t harm other people in the process of you taking it, no problem. But the days of greed and wastefulness at the expense of the masses is coming to a screeching halt. Pluto is cooking the crooks in the crucible of transformation. The greed mentality is clearly what has corroded the entire system and it’s time for a major one-way-we’re-never-going-back CHANGE. Let go and let Pluto!
It’s The End of the World as We Know It (and i feel fine) by Michael Stipe
a Capricorn of course!
That’s great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane -
Lenny Burnside is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn -
world serves its own needs, don’t misserve your own needs. Feed it up a knock,
speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height,
down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for
hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn’t coming in a hurry with the furies
breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered
crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population,
common group, but it’ll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its
own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the
reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright
light, feeling pretty psyched.
It’s the end of the world as we know it.
It’s the end of the world as we know it.
It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.
Six o’clock - TV hour. Don’t get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn,
return, listen to yourself churn. Lock him in uniform and book burning,
blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle,
light a motive. Step down, step down. Watch a heel crush, crush. Uh oh,
this means no fear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament,
a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives
and I decline.
It’s the end of the world as we know it.
