The Moon is doing a pretty special shimmy around the gates, first hitting it off with Uranus to bring a window of emotional clarity to our struggle for self. (UTC/GMT 12th October 8am till 5pm).
Then at 3am on 13th (UTC/GMT) it whips into the Gate of Innocence, joining the Earth in the Gate of Shock to define the Channel of Spiritual Initiation.
This channel is all about letting go of your ego and leaping into the unknown with the spirit of a warrior. It’s also known as the Channel of Mystical Direction. It takes us beyond what we currently know about ourselves.
The planets are Earth and Moon in this transit, so we’re finding a part of our emotional makeup that helps us ground and manifest. Because it’s the Earth, which is opposite the Sun (the conscious part of ourselves) it is likely to involve something hidden from our conscious self till now.
Notice that it’s connected all the way to the Base Chakra, by transiting planets! We can ground this energy tomorrow.
If we factor in the Centaur Hylonome in Gate 34 and TNS (Trans Neptunion Object) Altijira in Gate 20, we have the full Centring Circuit (conditions us to behave differently to the way we normally would - to align with our soul direction) and the full Integration Circuit (complete knowing of who you are and what you are doing in the moment). We have the ability to both ground and manifest a profoundly transformative new sense of self on the physical plane. Not just physical as in our cellular selves, but physical as in the resources we need to do what we’re here to do.
I believe that the Heart Centre (that’s the red triangle) is about having the courage to live fully in our bodies in this life, to claim what is ours, whether it be relationships, a sense of home, friends and companionship, reward for our efforts, a clear sense of direction without interference from others, anything that supports us emotionally and materially.
We can’t do that if our ego is doing double back flips trying to keep us safe from imaginary boogie men. Having the courage to stand up and take responsibility for the tools and resources our souls need in this life is a big step. What is it you want to do in this life and what do you need to get the job done? Those things are out there just waiting for you to claim them. Not in a whiney ‘I wish I had’ sort of way, but in a breathing deep and having the courage to fully receive them kind of way. Come on, you know we all do the whiney thing sometimes!
The challenge of these two Moon transits is to stand firm in your own understanding of the changes gripping the planet without pissing off those around you. Standing in innocence and love (Gate 25 and the G Centre) in your own soul direction (G Centre) and complete love of yourself (Gate 10 & 57) without putting anything out to others. You know, like … look at me! look at me! or … I’m sooo much more together than you …… you get the picture.
With Chiron and Neptune both in gates that help us hang together - all for one and one for all! - it’s likely that you’ll experience an intense heart opening that is inclusive and pure.
The underlying shadow energy is of separation and abandonment. In the sense that in order to take our own soul direction we need to be unattached to others, even our loved ones. Personally, long term loving relationships are very, very important to me. But I’ve found over the years that they only work if I am unattached to them and constantly support the other person to be the best and happiest they can be. That includes my kids, my friends, my partner. And it involves supporting them without reference back to my so-called best interests. The more I respond in this way the better and more stable my relationships become. Another wonderful paradox. You’ll miss it if you try to cling to anyone during the next few days. This is a time to be in love with yourself and in that place, to offer pure love to others.
