William James Adams, Jr., better known as will.i.am, is a music producer as well as a performer. Best known for fronting hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas, he gained even wider recognition when he came out with ’Yes We Can,’ a song based on a speech by presidential candidate Barack Obama. Directed by Jesse Dylan, the video features will.i.am, Scarlett Johansson, John Legend, Herbie Hancock, Common, Kate Walsh and Kareem Abdul Jabbar, among many other celebrities.
